need to produce a quick movie using your webcam? iCamShare, which costs $14.95, allows you to use your webcam. I haven’t downloaded the software to see what all of the features are but on their web page, they point out two things that are not available with the free software, GCam (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/13240). iCamShare can *digitally* zoom your Firewire web cam (e.g., iSight) up to 300%, and you can trim off unwanted parts of the video at the front and end of the video.
